Pan Sear

Pan Searing is a great easy way to prepare seafood . Cooking over medium-high heat locks in moisture and gives seafood a beautiful golden brown crust. The key to success when pan-searing is having a hot pan and the right oil. Make a blend of canola and olive oil; it has all the flavor and will not smoke.

  1. Prepare
Preheat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Pan is ready when a drop of water sizzles.
  2. Cook
Add seasoned seafood to heated pan. Cook, without moving, until a golden brown crust has formed and fish becomes slightly opaque. Flip product, lower heat to medium and continue to cook for 1-3 minutes
  3. Finish
Place cooked product on a platter. Let rest for 2 minutes. Simply serve with some sliced lemon
