Grilled Sockeye Salmon with Dijon Horseradish Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 Sockeye Salmon Fillet
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp. horseradish
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. melted butter
  • vegetable oil
  • salt & pepper

Directions:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk dijon mustard, horseradish and honey. Continue whisking and slowly pour in olive oil and butter. Mix well until sauce combines
  • Set Aside
  • Season Salmon Fillet with salt and pepper and a dollop of oil
  • Preheat cleaned oiled grill on medium-high heat for 10 minutes.
  • Place salmon on grill , flesh-side down and reduce heat to medium. Sear on one side until fish cooks half the way through, approximately 7 minutes. Flip item and continue to cook for 1-3 minutes.
  • Place fish on platter and let rest for two minutes. Pour dijon sauce over warmed fish. Garnish with fresh herbs and a side of grilled asparagus

Simple Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve over rice, your favorite vegetable or go healthy with quinoa

For an Extra Touch:

  • Rub fresh asparagus with your favorite flavored oil and place on grill when you turn salmon. Cook for 5 minutes and have a perfect grilled accompaniment
